Set Up Defect Conditions

Create your typical defect categories so your team can log defects consistently across projects.

Where: Portfolio settings (gear icon) → Records Defects Typical conditions

📋	Understand the Level system Level 1 = Main category (Plastering, Tiling, Brickwork) Level 2 = Specific defect (Stopping incomplete, Paint inadequate)
📥	Export the template Click the export button (top right) to download the Excel template. This file is ready for you to fill in.
✏️	Fill in your defect conditions Enter one item per row using the Level system: Level 1 = category, Level 2 = specific defect. Example: Plastering | Stopping incomplete.
📤	Import back to ProjectSight Save your file and return to ProjectSight. Click the import button to upload. Your defect conditions are now available for your team.

⚠️ Important: Only one item per row. Do not combine multiple defects in a single cell.
