Getting started
Your access and experience in ProjectSight depend on your role. Roles control what you can see and what actions you can take within the project.
| Tip: Roles are usually set up during onboarding. If you're unsure about your access, check with your project administrator. |
Project administrator Administrators manage setup and access. They configure roles, invite users, and control permissions across the project. |
Project user Most team members are project users. They work with drawings, RFIs, submittals, and daily reports based on their assigned permissions. |
Subcontractor Subcontractors are typically given limited access. They may view drawings, respond to RFIs, or submit documents, but usually do not see financial or administrative data. |
Can't access something? If you can't see or edit certain records, it is usually due to your role. Contact your project administrator and explain what you need access to. |
