Set up your Admin Console

Getting started

How to set up your Admin Console

Your Admin Console is where you manage users, roles, and ProjectSight licences for your organisation.

🔐

Step 1. Access the Admin Console

Once your Trimble ID is active, log in directly at administration.trimble.com. This is separate from ProjectSight itself. It's purely for managing users, roles, and licences.

👥

Step 2. Add your team

Go to the Users tab and click Add User.

⚠  You must press Enter after typing each email address. Failing to do so will result in the addresses being cleared upon submission.

For each user, set two things:

•  Role: License Admin or Product User
•  Support access: No Access or My Tickets

Tip: give yourself License Admin so you can manage seats and personnel changes later.

⚠  Note: adding yourself as a user does not automatically grant you product access. Continue to step 3 to assign a licence to your own account.
📋

Step 3. Assign licences

Adding a user doesn't grant product access on its own, including for yourself. Go back to Users, click the three-dot menu next to a name, select Edit user, then Assign License and choose ProjectSight.

🚀

Step 4. Get started in ProjectSight

Once a licence is assigned, each user gets a notification email about their new product access. They should click the large blue Get Started button in that email to launch ProjectSight for the first time.

Important: make sure your ProjectSight URL starts with prodau, not prod. Using the wrong region will show a blank screen, as data isn't shared between environments.
Seeing a blank page? Double check you're using the prodau URL and that a licence is active and assigned to your account. Still stuck? Contact your Technical Account Manager.
