Create daily reports in ProjectSight

Field Management

Daily reports capture what happens on site each day including labour, weather, and site activity. They provide a clear record of progress and help teams stay aligned.

Typical use: Site teams complete a daily report at the end of each day to record work completed, who was on site, and any delays or issues.
🗓

Step 1. Create a daily report

Go to Records → Daily Reports and select the relevant date. If a report does not exist, a new one will be created for that day.

👷

Step 2. Record site activity

Enter details about labour, subcontractors, equipment, and work completed during the day.

🌦

Step 3. Capture conditions and notes

Record weather conditions, delays, safety observations, and any important notes from site.

📷

Step 4. Attach photos (optional)

Add photos to provide visual context and support the daily record.

✅

Step 5. Save and finalise

Save the report so it becomes part of the project record and can be reviewed by your team.

Common mistake: Skipping daily reports or entering incomplete details can lead to gaps in records and make it harder to track progress or resolve disputes later.
